While gardening is my main focus for most of the year, winter shifts my rhythm. In the colder months, I tend to hibernate and paint. These deep winter days give me space to lean into my other passion. My paintings are rooted in my love of sunsets, and when you see added elements—a tool, a nude figure, a cat—they’re not just quirks. They’re little flashes of my humor woven into the scene.
